We avoid assigning concertos that demand athletic weeks you do not have. Instead we build a seasonal folder with one technical study and one expressive piece that fits your hand span and reading comfort.

Reading practice uses duet lines when helpful. Tone goals are written in the margin so home practice does not become empty repetition at full speed.

Contemporary works are welcome when editions are clear. We will postpone pieces that risk tension or require specialised techniques you have not prepared.

Discuss goals in your first lesson — salon music, orchestral excerpts, or quiet personal study all fit if expectations stay honest and the week has room to practice.

Bring photocopies only when copyright allows; we prefer legal editions and pencil marks you can keep.
